India won the World Cup 2011 beating Srilanka in the final winning the ICC Cricket World Cup. It took 28 years to live the glory again after the famous 1983 World Cup win.
India started as the cup winning favorites pre-tournament. They justified the favoritism and proved today that India is the best cricket team in the world with all what Champions must have in them to create history.

What a match India vs Pakistan was! India did great to win the match all handsomely. It was the right team spirit and team effort which got us this closer to the millions dream of India finally winning the Cricket World Cup 2011. Bowling has improved in the past 2-3 matches along fielding and that is a great news of Indian cricket fans.
It were fireworks all around the nation, people cheering, roaring under the adrenaline rush hour making merry. In India Cricket is not just a sport or a game, its considered as a religion. Its hard to express that what does it means to the people here.
Beating pakistan and booking a ticket for finals was not that easy. Thanks to God of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar, his knock of 85 runs (dropped 4 times) was the crucial inning of today's match.Sachin Tendulkar was very close to making a century of centuries, but got out at 85. He was awarded the Man Of Match. Little master also said that he will cherish the win over pakistan for a long long time.
Will India win the World Cup final match against Srilanka?
Surely India remains the strongest contender for winning the world cup 2011. They have proved it more than just once and we know that they have given there best. We appreciate that, we all surely do and look forward to the world cup finals.

My answer is just the same as Arjuna Ranatunga's. My heart is with India, but it is 50-50. But I hope India will win the cup. I will do a tarot reading on the finals, but cannot say much because if my emotions come in between, it is very difficult to identify with the intuition. I will have to stay in a very highly neutral state of mind.
